How Tattoo Removal Works
Ready to say "sayonara" to that tattoo? PicoSure's got you covered! This revolutionary laser uses PressureWave™ technology to deliver picosecond pulses of energy—that's one trillionth of a second, folks!—beneath your skin. While other lasers break ink, PicoSure shatters it into teeny-tiny, dust-like particles that your body can easily whisk away. Think of it like a super-powered eraser, targeting only the ink while leaving your healthy skin untouched. Your lymphatic system then steps in to naturally eliminate the ink, so you can bid adieu to your unwanted ink. Science is cool!
PicoSure works with your body to remove tattoos—
• Multicolored tattoos, including blues and greens
• Hard-to-remove black ink
• Stubborn, previously treated tattoos
Why does it take so long?
Your body needs time to do its work! We recommend a minimum of 8 weeks between laser sessions (and 12 weeks for darker skin tones) to allow for proper healing and ink elimination. Ideally, waiting three months between treatments is best. Rushing the process with shorter intervals can damage your skin and lead to unwanted side effects. It also doesn't give your body enough time to clear the ink broken up by the previous treatment. Patience is key for the best and safest results.
